Settle in for a While
at Our Smoky Mountain Getaway
With a front-porch view of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Fryemont Inn is a place for cozy comforts and memories shared with friends and family. Games by the fireplace, a newspaper before a hearty country breakfast, or a late summer swim in the pool — these are the pursuits of guests who relish mountain living as it was always meant to be.
The Ultimate Guide to the Great Smoky Mountains
The historic lodge’s 37 unique rooms offer rustic and nostalgic accommodations, with varied configurations and connecting rooms for family stays. The stone cottage suites and balcony suites are a short walk from the main lodge and offer modern amenities with a vintage feel.
Our chef and staff serve breakfast and dinner at the Fryemont Inn’s full-service dining room, and both are included in your lodging package during the primary season (mid-April to Thanksgiving). The quaint Fireside Bar is our favorite gathering place before and after dinner.
Though our mountain retreat is the perfect place to enjoy some downtime, there’s no better way to recharge and relax than an adventure in the surrounding mountain playground. From the best motorcycle roads in the Southeast to the majestic trails of the Great Smokies and the rafting thrills of the Nantahala river, you’ll never be at a loss for what to do next.

“A beautiful, serene, historic but comfortable inn, staff unbelievably nice and helpful. Rooms very comfortable and quiet, food in their dining room was exceptional and staff unbelievable. The porch with rocking chairs very inviting. Close to downtown Bryson and the trains. Totally enjoyed my visit.”
