If you’re a chocoholic, you will love this dense, fudgy chocolate pie. Fudge Brownie Pie was Sue’s dad’s favorite!
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked pastry pie crust
In a microwavable container, combine chocolate and butter. Microwave one minute at a time, stirring after each minute, until chocolate is melted. Mix well and cool slightly. Beat eggs well. Add chocolate mixture and all remaining ingredients. Pour into the prepared pie crust.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minute or until the top puffs and begins to crack slightly. Cool. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream.
